Writing Business Articles People Will Want to Read

Hi there,

I remember the first time I sat down to try to write a blog – it was 2011. The topic was cross-cultural communication and the outlet was Harvard Business Review.I had never written a blog before and had no idea how to approach it.

Fast forward 8 years and I’ve written nearly 60 articles for Harvard Business Review and a number of others at Inc.com, Forbes.com, and Psychology Today. These publications have enabled me to reach an entirely new audience with my work. They also have created unexpected and lucrative opportunities.

I’ve been approached for paid speeches, webinars, and consulting engagements – all because of the articles I’ve written. And I am also frequently contacted by people who tell me that my writing has made a difference in their lives – which, for me, is the best result of all.

I'm often asked to share the secret “formula” that I use to write articles quickly and effectively. And that’s why I created my new online course How to Write Business Articles People Will Want to Read.

This online course is organized into six simple sections:

  • Welcome to the course
  • How to choose a compelling topic
  • How to write an engaging introduction
  • How to craft actionable solutions
  • How to write a succinct conclusion and a catchy title
  • Advice on publishing

You can follow along at your own pace and all sessions are pre-recorded, so you will have access to the courses and accompanying PDFs anytime you would like. I also include 3 expert interviews by talented authors and editors to give you additional insight into the writing process.

The course will be useful for anyone who wants to increase their reach and impact, or even just improve their writing style. I hope you take advantage!

Take care,
Andy
